We have an exciting opportunity for Relief Charity Shop Assistants to join us to enable that mission continue through customer interaction, sales and stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
The Relief Charity Shop Assistant will support the Charity Shop Manager in maintaining the shops integrity through sales, sorting of donated items and ensure the shop premises comply with Health and Safety legislation. The successful candidate will be responsible for general day to day activities including cash handling, till work, repetitive lifting, pricing and displaying of donated items. The Charity Shop Assistant will also be expected to support to community as it access the Salvation Army through the shop floor.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
• Proven experience of serving customers within the service industry
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of delivering customer service
• Understanding of financial and numerical information
• Ability to understand issues related to working with volunteers
