Citi Commercial Bank UK caters to MME (Mid-Market Enterprise) segment, focusing on UK headquartered companies with sales of $50mm - $2.5bn. This CCB UK Relationship Associate position reports to the UKPayment IntermediaryHead and is responsible for supporting new client origination in theFinTech/ Paymentecosystemand also for managing an existing base of clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for internal requests/problem escalation and resolution
  • Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RMs)
  • Helps clients to access Citi’s global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe
  • Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current: FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs and other credit-related documents
  • Partners with Credit Admin team to monitor usage of credit lines, and partnering with Independent Risk during client Annual Reviews
  • Handle documentation related to clients on-boarding with the Commercial Bank and keep the client/RM abreast of the status
  • Initiate CRM workflow for account opening and other TTS products for assigned customers
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed
  • Coordinates credit requests and approvals from Citi’s global network
  • Engages with product partners and Citi’s global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients
  • Ensures periodic support discussions are held with clients and are correctly documented
  • Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Commercial/Corporate banking experience
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Basic knowledge of trade, lending, FX, capital markets and other cash products

Skills:

  • Commercial/Corporate Bankingknowledge
  • Relationship skills and ability to maintain an effective network across the organization
  • Organisational skills are a must
  • Ability to multi-task and prioirtise
  • MS-office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Language skills: English

    Qualifications:

    Graduate in Business/Commerce or Banking Diploma
