The Role 

We have a great opportunity for a vet to join our friendly and vibrant team covering our expanding small animal client base. Work-life balance is important to us which is why we offer, no OOH and flexibility to suit either full time or part-time hours.

Situated within the stunning Wye Valley on the border of Herefordshire and South Wales; we have a very strong belief in a good work-life balance. Salary is commensurate with experience with full and part-time roles available. Our vets and nurses are well experienced in supporting new and recent graduates, including accredited mentors and full team support. For those with a bit of experience there are great opportunities to develop your career, all fully encouraged and supported.

About Us

Formally a truly mixed practice, we have recently altered our focus to small animals and small holders. With our large increase in small animal clients, we are looking to expand our team. There is also a great oppor-tunity to help develop our growing interest in exotic species if this is of interest to you!

CPD is actively encouraged with many of our vets and RVNs holding certificates ranging from Small Animal Surgery to Dentistry and Exotic Medicine. We are a fully equipped modern practice with all the gadgets, including endoscopy and digital x-ray, with plans to establish a local branch surgery.

We currently have 6 vets, and 7 nurses, with 3 support staff. 2 vets are cert holders- one in Exotics, and the other in small animal surgery. We are a friendly team who welcome any new member to our family, there is a strong work ethic but also believe in having a good work-life balance is achieved.

The candidate must be enthusiastic with a strong focus on communica-tion and client care. Have a positive and can-do attitude with an innovative approach. Most importantly, a good sense of humour is a definite must to fit in with our Vine Tree family!
