Established in 1902, at Trenton Cold Storage our specialty is customized temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution. We provide Canada with more than 34,000,000 cubic feet of cold storage and refrigerated warehouse space in our seven Ontario and two Alberta facilities. We are looking for Refrigeration B Operators for our Toronto warehouse in North York.

Job Summary: 

Refrigeration operators oversee the maintenance and operation of the refrigeration equipment to ensure temperatures are maintained and equipment is operating efficiently. They perform preventative maintenance, plant checks, and perform repairs to the refrigeration and all other areas of the warehouse, such as dock doors, floor repairs, etc.

Must be able to work rotating 12-hour continental shifts, including nights and weekends, and must be able to work in the cold (-18C) and must be fully vaccinated against COVID19. Must possess a valid Refrigeration B Operator license or 3rd class stationary in good standing with TSSA. Must have proficient computer skills, a strong mechanical aptitude with good troubleshooting skills, knowledge of appropriate health and safety regulations, and the ability to work with contractors.
