The main focus of this role is to successfully lead a team of Recruitment Services Administrators who focus on onboarding for our Customer-Facing roles. These are for areas in Sky like our Contact Centres, Home Service engineers and Retail stores.
You will also support the team through our Sky Life transformation programme, where we are implementing Workday across HR in 2022. You’ll ensure the service is both high-quality and responsive for hiring managers and candidates. Your team will be known for being easy to deal with, efficient and producing work that’s right first time.
What you’ll do:
Work with your Manager to deliver the transformation of the current service through the Sky Life programme. Ensuring that the teams are engaged throughout, including them with clear direction and regularly sharing plans and priorities for the Service.
Effectively lead, manage, engage, develop and empower your team to provide an outstanding service within SLA’s.
Act as a true partner with the wider customer facing recruitment team, delivery partners and People+ ensuring the delivery of a joined up and seamless service.
Take accountability for escalated complex queries, managing stakeholders effectively and taking decisive action.
Using your knowledge of our systems and processes, look for ways to continuously improve our efficiency and service levels, using technology and automation wherever possible.
Ensure you develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Sky policies, our processes and ways of working, the HR systems and relevant legislation & provide relevant coaching and training for your team.
Manage resource levels in your team, including the recruitment process, sickness levels, holiday schedules and shifts and overtime where necessary.
Ensure effective controls are in place to minimise risk to Sky in particular with regards to Right to Work, Background Checking and GDPR.
What you’ll bring:
Ability to engage, empower and inspire people to work towards a common goal.
A track record in using data and analysis to drive performance.
Experience of engaging with stakeholders at senior levels.
Previous onboarding or recruitment delivery experience.
Customer focused, putting the customers at the heart of everything we do.
Experienced in leading a high-volume operational team.
Experienced in having responsibility for Workflow management and Continuous Improvement.
Knowledge of recruitment policies, processes and employment legislation.
