Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with analytics and synthesizing data into actionable results.
• Experience working in regional or global real estate transactions.

Preferred qualifications:

• ACA or ARICS qualification.
• Experience with real estate analysis for large-scale complex projects across multiple regions.
• Experience delivering results at a consistently high-volume across a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions.
• Experience advising on a range of commercial issues encountered in the acquisition and development of a global real estate portfolio.
• Ability to create innovative solutions and bring individuals/teams together to work collaboratively, and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.

About the job

As a Real Estate Commercial Transaction Analyst, you will provide transactional advice and support to the Regional Director of Real Estate Strategy and Transactions, the Global Director, and other members of the regional Real Estate Commercial teams. You will be an integral part of the Strategy and Transaction team providing consistent and quality analyses that informs the strategic direction of real estate actions, facilitate real estate strategic and transactional reporting, and assist the evolution of Google’s future real estate strategy. You will focus on a regional portfolio and will be a trusted and knowledgeable partner coordinating with internal and external cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Regional Director of Real Estate Strategy and Transaction and other partnering teams to model a variety of real estate strategies and transactions that balance business priorities within a global framework.
• Develop creative and impactful analyses to drive real estate decisions and direction of portfolio, advising on risks, and providing strategic business advice to executive leadership teams.
• Collaborate on complex real estate transactions with cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, managing business case development, from designing a compelling story to structuring insightful analyses and gathering input.
• Take an active role in evolving Portfolio Analysis, and work collaboratively with other analysts to share best practices and process improvements.
• Be responsible for consistency and quality of Google’s real estate analysis, and the consistent approach and application of corporate policies across markets.
