The Ratings Analyst’s role within the group will be to help the Ratings team with the accurate prediction and post analysis of commercial break ratings across a selection of channels within the Sky Media portfolio.

What you’ll do:
– Predicting break ratings across a portfolio of Sky Wholly Owned and Media Partner channels (UK and Ire) sold by Sky Media. This also involves evaluating current forecasting approach and deploying relevant analytical and modelling techniques and automate certain processes.
– Keeping up to date with daily schedule amendments, break restrictions and Sales queries.
– Updating daily analysis documents which measure changes in ratings levels and audience profiles. This also involves automating the process using coding, macros and other automation tools.
– Ensuring the inventory for each month is set up and meets targets and deadlines.
– Stakeholder engagement with other relevant Sky Media teams (ATM, Comm Ops, Scheduling).

What you’ll bring:
– Experience in Excel, knowledge of PowerPoint, experience of at least one data management environment (SQL Server environment or a cloud based environment like AWS or GCP)
– Experience in coding language (eg Python, SAS, SQL)
– Must be able to demonstrate an interest in the TV/Media landscape
– Solid mathematical background / numerical acumen and computer proficiency
