The opportunity  

We currently have a permanent full time opportunity to join this fast paced collaborative team. In this role you’ll be working to support the Senior Manager of Reporting & Analytics to manage their day in and day out requirements. The Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Network & Maintenance Function by transforming the existing legacy reporting methodologies into self-serve reporting using the existing tech stack, while also supporting the existing reporting and business analytics as required.

The role will be based in Burwood, with a flexible work arrangement.

 

Key accountabilities of the role include (not limited to): 

 

  • Understand the existing reporting landscape and be a key contributor in identifying and recommending improvements while also playing a key role in transforming them into self-serve reporting platforms such as Tableau and Domo
  • Have a clear understanding of data methodologies & experience in visualisation tools such as Tableau & Domo
  • Understand the business specific data and relevant KPIs to assist with ad-hoc analytics and insights based on stakeholder requirements and direction from the leadership
  • Support the team in managing and distribution of a variety of KPI reports on a weekly & monthly basis.

The complexities of internal & external stakeholder management by demonstrating planning & prioritising in your routine work. The role demands exceptional time management skills and attention to detail. You can be expected to work both autonomously and as part of the team too.

You will need to be clear & concise with your communication and a master in using all Microsoft packages be it PowerPoint or Excel.

Essential Requirements 

 

  • Experienced in creating dashboards using visualisation tools such as Tableau and/or Domo
  • Desirable to have experience in using SAP for data extraction and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to implement business improvements through technological innovation.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving skills and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft products including SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word and Office365 cloud applications.

 

We will prefer to have candidates who have experienced using DOMO, Tableau or similar

 

Salary and benefits

 

The salary for this position:

 

Grade 5A ($ 106,653) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
