Landmark Homes is one of New Zealand’s premium residential building companies, with a proud history of building stunning homes throughout New Zealand.  Landmark Homes Waikato is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hamilton, someone who strives to continue this legacy.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor with Landmark Homes, you’ll be working alongside a dedicated team in delivering accurate material lists, quantities and costings for Landmark Homes to be built. You’ll need to have strong attention to detail to support the business in producing high-quality homes for clients.  We are looking for someone who can confidently communicate with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

•  

  Closely liaise with Project Managers, New Homes Consultants regarding build specifications and client requirements 



•  

  Produce comprehensive and accurate quotes for various stages of the build (including from contractors)



•  

  Price client variations 



•  

  Utilising BuildMaster as a centralised project management tool (CRM)



•  

  Oversee and check-in on budgets, timeframes highlighting and addressing any issues with the Project Manager when they arise



•  

  Developing strong working relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors 



 

To be successful in this role you will need the following Background / experience / qualities:

•  

  At least two years’ experience as a QS for residential/commercial properties



•  

  Proven knowledge and experience in the construction industry



•  

  High level of attention to detail



•  

  Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects successfully



•  

  Ability to problem solve



•  

  Computer literate - especially with Excel ad CRM systems



•  

  Great communication skills to enable you to build and develop relationships with all stakeholders
