The Role

 As an experienced Quality professional, you’ll work closely with the SCZ functions to ensure that project quality is delivered consistently, safely and efficiently.

Typical accountabilities you’ll have will be: 

• Supporting Project Managers to deliver their scope of work “right first time” 
• Designing, developing and implementing quality strategy for the PDO 
• Ensuring Quality objectives are delivered
• Ensuring the overall quality planning and implementation of quality arrangements
• Reporting on the quality performance of Delivery Teams and Supply Chain
• Ensuring that supply chain organisations comply with contract quality requirements
• Ensuring that quality issues are resolved without compromising quality or nuclear safety
• Identifying opportunities for quality improvement, supporting their implementation and making recommendations accordingly
   

The Skills

 You’ll have a background as a Quality Engineer, Quality Lead, or something similar ideally with experience on working on a large infrastructure project. 

We’re looking for multiple individuals who can demonstrate:

• Degree qualified in an engineering or science related discipline or equivalent 
• Extensive experience within the UK regulatory environment
• Expert knowledge of Quality Systems - ISO 9001, etc
• Strong stakeholder management experience 

 Desirable:

• Experience of regulatory and external stakeholder engagement
• Experience and technical knowledge of nuclear safety design and quality management 
• Experience of working with Regulators within a dynamic environment
