You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar and energy storage systems – a great opportunity to get involved in and learn about the fast-growing solar industry. You will be part of an installation team including electricians, installers and trade assistants. 

Commercial or industrial experience would be fantastic, but not essential.

The ability to work in a team and maintain a high standard of workmanship is an important part of the role. You will need to be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, be hard working and able to problem solve on the spot to ensure efficient running of jobs.

Travel around the greater Auckland region will be required.

To be successful you will need:

• New Zealand Residency or Visa
• Current EWRB registration
• Full, clean driver’s license
• To be flexible around travelling to jobs and staying away from home from time-to-time
• To be comfortable working at heights (usually harnessed rather than scaffolding)
• A good level of physical fitness
• Strong technical electrical knowledge
• Good communication skills with a can-do attitude
• Keen eye for detail and deadline oriented
