About this role

This is a critical role, responsible for driving the planning and delivery of major strategic programmes across Consumer products on BT and EE brands, including leading the planning and execution of BT/Home back book price changes. This will include collaborating with multiple stakeholders to define the scope, customer segmentation and offer strategy and manage key risks, opportunities, and contingency plans. Working with a variety of teams across Consumer, this role will also be responsible for the GTM execution of Price Change ensuring channels and customer communications are updated with key messages to ensure delivery lands brilliantly with customers and colleagues as well as monitoring performance to ensure the scope is delivered in line with expectations 

You'll have the following responsibilities

Major strategic programme planning and delivery

Act as a key advocate, influencing multiple stakeholders to deliver the strategic vision

Utilise market/customer insight and base analysis to identify key risks and opportunities during the planning and delivery phases of back book price changes

Collaborating with teams across Marketing, develop the segmentation, key customer messages and offers/gives strategy

Define and drive the GTM execution of Price Change, working with a variety of teams across Consumer to ensure the delivery lands brilliantly with customers 

Monitor performance through a variety of data and reporting sources, managing risks and contingency plans

Provide regular updates on progress, including the creation and presentation of materials for MD and CEO level sessions

Balance key business priorities to drive brilliant customer and commercial outcomes

Set pricing where necessary

You'll have the following skills & experience

Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with your stakeholder’s pan Consumer and BT

Strong analytical and strategic capability 

Excellent planning and execution skills

Proven track record delivering multiple £m P&L lines

Responsible for multiple Commercial plans

Influencing at Director level

Significant knowledge of Mobile, and or Home Proposition set across BT and EE brands

Significant knowledge of communications market dynamics ideal

Knowledge of how to obtain and interpret customer and market insight

Substantial knowledge and broad experience in Marketing 

Bold and confident thinking, challenging the status quo where appropriate

Proven ability in making things happen – translate solutions into creation and delivery of practical and workable marketing plans that have a commercial / business impact.

Patience and experience of navigating large, complex organisational structures 

Able to deal with ambiguity, identify resources to implement and determine pragmatic solutions

Substantial marketing and commercial experience

Proven track record in planning and delivering strategic projects

Proven track record in pricing & portfolio strategy & P&L management
