People and Culture (P&C) division partner to drive workforce solutions that align to business outcomes and support our people to thrive.
The Opportunity
Within the P&C Business Partnering team, we are seeking a Project Officer, for an ongoing full-time opportunity, to make an impact on how we manage and implement cohesive change across several HR-interfacing initiatives.
Operating with a high level of autonomy, the Project Officer is a critical partnership role, with a reporting line into the Director, Business Partnering. This role will support the P&C Business Partner function to help monitor and manage the delivery of key HR initiatives and has the potential to be hands-on in the delivery of some of these areas.

What you will be involved in:
Project Management activity supporting human-centred design perspectives
Provide project briefs, reporting and updates in consultation with the various key stakeholders
Develop project plans using feedback, analytics and insights that complement the HR strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts across Sydney Trains, and People & Culture, including change management teams, HR Advisory, and the Transformation team
Deliver projects in line with using effective data maintenance and reporting on relevant activities
Employ continuous improvement framework to assess and review existing processes and procedures to measure effectiveness and align with the Business Partnering strategy for People and Culture
About you
You are an effective, analytical Project Officer with project management experience (Agile/Waterfall) working within an HR-centred environment
You are knowledgeable with technologies such as SuccessFactors, Tableau and MS Office
You have a willingness to learn and are passionate about innovation, transformation and identifying opportunities to enhance the end-to-end people experience
You have effective collaboration skills, strong stakeholder engagement expertise
You have experience in projects embedding change and transformation
You have experience in developing and maintaining credible relationships in a complex environment to achieve project outcomes
You have or are working towards a tertiary HR/Business qualification, or equivalent experience
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 6A ($94,879) – 6E ($104,367) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
