About the Team:

As part of the SSR Operations team, reporting to the Head of PMO Delivery, the team are responsible for planning, capability, productivity, PMO and governance for the Sales, Service & Retention Directorate.

The Project Manager will provide project delivery support for selected cross functional projects.

You will be responsible for providing the project support to enable the delivery of selected cross functional & SS&R projects with the right channel experience informed by the agreed customer journeys principles where appropriate.

 

About the Role:

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of agreed projects to the appropriate time, cost and quality.

The role holder will manage virtual teams in the delivery of such change, including leads from each impacted Service, Sales & Retention channel to ensure that each piece of change is implemented successfully and effectively. This is not a technical IT Project Management position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To be accountable for the delivery of projects, ensuring SSR are always ready for any given rollout or launch (people, processes, systems) and that it has been optimised to balance the best outcomes for SSR with wider Telefonica UK business units
  • To build strong and credible relationships with key stakeholders, owners and sponsors across SSR and wider business
  • Through effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, be accountable for communicating progress and driving action to ensure achievement of deliverables and business benefits
  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate updates regarding the projects being managed
  • Plan as appropriate having identified any risks or mitigation actions required to keep the overall plan on track

 

What We Need from You:

 

  • Experienced in defining and leading projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to negotiate and build effective relationships
  • Delivery focussed with a passion for flawless execution and a track record to match
  • A clear and decisive thinker both at a strategic and operational level who makes rational, logical and reasoned judgments
