Role Purpose
The Project Manager will manage the successful delivery of the Field Services Management system across Installations and the wider business.
Whilst there will be no supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organisation to succeed.
They will work collaboratively with the Change Manager and also support the internal and vendor IT project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Key Responsibilities
- To coordinate both internal and external resources for flawless execution
- To ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- To assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant internal stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility
- To ensure resource availability and allocation
- To develop detailed plans to monitor and track progress
- To manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- To measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- To report and escalate to management as needed
- To manage successful relationships with all relevant stakeholders; utilising RACI as an effective business tool
- To perform risk management to minimise potential risks
- To create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- To meet with project sponsors as required to clarify specific requirements
- To track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long term goals
- To meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on analysis
- To develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with all stakeholders
- To develop dashboards, spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs as appropriate
- To perform other project management related duties as assigned
What you will bring
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager within a service orientated, operational business environment
- Experience of IT project implementation would be an advantage although not essential
- Thorough understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
