With continuous growth and 2022 not looking to slow down we are looking to add two new members to the team. With significant construction experience under your belt or experience currently as a Project Manager, you will be well versed with the ins and outs of the New Zealand building code and confident applying it to your day. On the construction site you are great with people working in high pressure environments, you know the industry well so you can back yourself and stand by facts but you also pride yourself on your customer service. Your strong technical knowledge and focus on quality building practices will make you successful working for a leading New Zealand manufacturing company.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with projects sales staff to be familiar with all aspects of a successful tender
  • Prepare detailed project timelines, door schedules, cost, and production schedules
  • Document and maintain all project transactions, being conscious of costs
  • Prepare and collate all project documentation for specific projects
  • Ensure a smooth, timely, hassle free delivery of projects that achieve deadlines
  • Supervise and communicate with all subcontractors to ensure quality and avoid potential issues arising
  • Conduct post project reviews
  • Attend and contribute to weekly project/ production meetings

Attributes required for this position:

  • A passion for outstanding customer service and satisfaction
  • A full understand of all door types
  • Ability to develop and foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to gain repeat business and secure project extras or variations
  • Experience and working knowledge of the construction industry
  • Calm and factual in high pressure environments
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy to numbers
  • Clear communicator verbally, face to face and in writing
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience with Excel
