About the Role

Calder Stewart is seeking an astute Project Manager to lead a range of construction projects in Invercargill. You will have great communication skills, building rapport with clients and have advanced writing ability.

You will be working closely with external project management consultants, and you will be confident working with people at all levels of the client organisation.

This person will be reporting to the Regional Manager in Invercargill.

Skills You Will Need

Being an integral member of our Calder Stewart team you will be dedicated to our company vision of being New Zealand’s Property and Build partner of choice.

Skills and attributes you have will include :

• Five plus years relevant industry experience in a project leadership role, and a tertiary qualification relevant to the construction industry or project management is preferable
• Main contractor New Zealand commercial construction experience
• Sound knowledge of the NZ construction sector and you will have relevant experience to Calder Stewart builds. Design and build experience is preferable
• Can interpret and understand drawings and structures with a view to offering optimum value for the client
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including MS Project (Procore is ideal)
• Strong financial management with the ability to drive cost accountability
• Solid programming skills
• Effective planner and process-oriented
• You will have a high level of Health & Safety awareness
• Outstanding written and oral communication
