Our Integrated Project Delivery Services team is growing! We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Project Manager based in Wellington to work on a variety of infrastructure projects across ANZ, primarily in the social infrastructure, transport, resources, power, and water sectors.

The Project Manager is responsible for working as part of a team to provide project and design management services to the clients in the sector. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding in managing complex engineering design packages and be responsible for implementing Jacobs QA procedures and Client QA requirements.

We are seeking individuals who are prepared to always go the extra mile when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. To be successful you will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • Responsible for implementing Jacobs QA procedures and Client QA requirements. Monitoring and reporting of project progress, risks and issues.
  • Design management including civil, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering disciplines on smaller projects being supported by the Team Lead and DPE.
  • Management of time, cost, budget and change management.
  • Facilitate the production of documentation to enable construction.
  • Ensure project work complies with the project scope of works, statutory/regulatory requirements and client standards.
  • Support field work of clients and their contractors during commissioning. Managing the review of drawings and documents by Senior Designers and Engineers in various groups.
  • Meet commercial outcomes by managing own hours and budgets, and where applicable hours and budgets of other team members. Reporting and monitoring of project financial performance.
  • Preparation of cost estimates and drawing lists for projects. You will support your PU to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people
