Working within the Programme Strategy team, this role will be responsible for the end to end management of future channel launches whilst also providing support on key strategic projects that help craft the future of Sky’s content offering

As a Project Manager, this role will be accountable for making sure all project plans are coordinated between teams, delivered on time and within the designated budget.

Strong project management skills, the ability to analyse and simplify complex problems and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders will be key to success and ensuring that we maintain momentum.

What you’ll do:

• End to end management of channel launches/projects, ensuring successful and smooth launches
• Drive and maintain clarity for the project roadmap to ensure everyone involved is aligned and clear on what priorities are
• Chairing regular steering and working groups to ensure all teams are kept up to date with the latest developments
• Provide accurate and timely tracking and reporting of project status against defined deliverables and milestones
• Produce project plans, manage project collaborators, issues and risks, ensuring minimal impact on the operation or our customers
• Support the Head of Department and wider commercial team on adhoc projects

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of leading projects/programmes with a deep understanding of project /programme management challenges and methodologies, particularly when applied to agile environments
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills, including with Sky executives
• The ability to translate between technical concepts and customer benefits, encouraging mutual understanding across a wide range of colleagues
• Excellent team-working and collaboration skills. Able to participate in a creative, positive, energetic and fun environment
• Able to motivate others to successfully achieve desired outcomes
