About the team
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The Role
We have an exciting full time permanent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the Maintenance and Delivery Team in the Hunter region based out of Newcastle. This team that offers the successful candidate extensive support, training to deliver an interesting and varied project workload.
As a Project Engineer you will assist the team in the development of maintenance and rehabilitation work on bridges’ improvement program as well as monitor and report project progress and brief to ensure the delivery of projects as per the agreed milestone and cost.
The execution of your duties will require travel around the region to develop high quality connections throughout the project development and delivery cycle.

About You
To be considered for this role you will have tertiary qualifications in civil/structural engineering and have knowledge or experience in the design, construction and/or maintenance of structures
You will be a proactive analytical thinker and possess high level communication skills. The ability to astutely manage time and work collaboratively and closely with stakeholders to deliver is paramount as is your dedicated commitment to safety and quality.

Salary and Benefits
Professional Engineer Level 1/2 $ 96,105- $127,409- per annum plus superannuation
