The opportunity

We are seeking 2xmotivated and enthusiastic Project Engineers to support the wider Project Management team in the delivery and management of the large scale, complex, multi-discipline TSOM scope of works with defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

This is a fixed term position (temporary full time until 31st Dec 2024) based at our North Sydney and George Street, Sydney offices with flexible working arrangements.

One Project Engineer will report to a Senior Project Manager focusing on the delivery of  Baseline Residual Assets (Track, Civil, Geotechnical and Electrical) Design and Construction while the other Project Engineer will report to a Project Manager focusing on the delivery of signalling asset upgrade of the brownfield Sydenham to Bankstown line to a (Grade of Automation 4) CBTC Metro Railway

The role will work with tier 1 contractors and service providers to deliver complex works in a collaborative and cooperative manner to support subsequent construction activities and to ensure the timely and effective delivery of the project.

Specific role accountabilities include:

• Provide engineering support including design and constructability reviews and commissioning assistance to ensure that design deliverables are met
• Deliver all technical tasks to comply with quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls to enable completion on time and within scope
• Engaging with key project stakeholders and relevant authorities in order to achieve required project outcomes
• Providing timely and accurate reporting
• Track, analysis and facilitate issues for resolution

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the relevant field.
• Experience in the design and delivery of rail infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in coordinating/interfacing with multiple stakeholders

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Engineering Grade 9 ($138,670 – $155,309) per annum plus superannuation.
