Your role will be to manage all aspects of the civil and structural operation reporting directly to the Project Manager. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain strong client relationships, liaise with the public and prepare progress and claim reports. You will also have a quality and safety ethos and perform audits and checks to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and environmental policies.

About you:

We are looking for individuals with the following skills and experience:

• A formal civil engineering qualification (BE, NZCE)
• 4 + years' experience in a civil engineering position
• Ideally experienced with piling and ground improvements plus general Civil construction experience.
• Experience in reviewing technical drawings and design
• Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated customer relationship management skills
• Sound project or engineering operations experience, including budget management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• A self-starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety initiatives, and ability to assist in preparing method statements for a range piling techniques, together with JSEA preparation.
• Willing to learn and build your career in a fast-developing regional business
