Manly Vale office location with flexible hybrid office and Work from Home model

Ongoing Permanent role (35 hours per week) with a salary from $66,298 to $102,403 + super

Our Water Infrastructure NSW team is currently seeking to appoint a Project Engineer (Coastal) to undertake a range of oceanic / marine, coastal, estuarine and hydraulic engineering investigations. In this role you will work with senior staff members on projects involving coast and marine studies, including physical and/or numerical modelling of coastal structures and coastal processes.

About You

You will have proven experience delivering coastal investigations on time and on budget with competing priorities. You will also have strong customer service and relationship building skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional client service at all times.

Essential Requirements

Appropriate Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline at Degree level.

You will have comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in coastal studies, including physical and/or numerical modelling of coastal structures and coastal processes, an understanding of model scaling laws and coastal process models relating to coastal investigations, and demonstrable experience in the preparation of technical proposals and reports.

It would be advantageous to hold a NSW boat licence and the ability to swim.

Please note travel is occasionally required for this role therefore you must have a valid NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel across various locations within NSW including overnight stay.

MHL manages Australia's largest coastal monitoring network and has been solving coastal, port, and hydraulic engineering problems since 1944.
