***The base salary banding for this role is £70,080 - £87,600 in London and £59,040 - £73,800 outside of London, plus the benefits listed below.***

Our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) Programme Delivery & Business Operations Team is looking for a Programme Manager to lead an extensive portfolio of projects to deliver the next phase of LBG’s Public Cloud strategy. 

You'll be a self-motivated and proactive leader who has an eye on the bigger picture but can apply laser focus to ensure delivery. You're up for the challenge of working on a large, sophisticated programme that will drive significant change across our business. You'll enjoy storytelling, look to identify associations and gaps, ask the questions others don’t, drive out clarity from ambiguity and be able to challenge the norm to drive business outcome.

What's needed to be considered for this role?


Essential skills

  • Programme/large project delivery track record in a public cloud setting for a large and complex organisation with Project Management skills in FastPath and Agile and good understanding of managing costs, plans, risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Multi-cloud strategy delivery experience. Understanding of Azure and/or Google Cloud products and services, with a good level of technical knowledge for working in an engineering focussed environment
  • Experience of communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Planning and financial budgeting experience in an agile (Scrum) based environment
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management in a matrix organisation environment.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience of project teams, and direct or indirect line management responsibilities.


Desirable skills

  • Awareness of technology funding models, budgeting and cost allocation in Cloud based environments would be welcome
  • Relevant industry qualifications eg. CISMP, Prince 2, APMP, MSP
  • Actively researches industry best practice, tools and techniques for efficient implementation
  • Experienced in working in partnership with sourcing to deliver commercial relationships which support strategic outcomes for LBG.
  • Track record of successfully delivering IT change with third parties and integrating third parties into LBG delivery.

  • Supporting the team to understand the business context which the CCoE faces into and assists them in navigating that landscape
  • Supporting the team with prioritisation and refinement activities, to enable value delivered


Governance

  • Creating, implementing and operating within an appropriate governance framework which aligns to the wider transformation/end to end governance framework


Planning & finance

  • Driving progress towards the MVP; understanding, challenging and managing any blockers, e.g. time, resource and people
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with Divisions or Business Units


People & Self Development

  • Contributing to building delivery capability across the CCoE, ensuring that teams consider business needs in both product design and acceptance criteria
  • Supporting CCoE teams to become delivery specialists, ensuring that change releases are successful
  • Leadership, coaching, career development of team members


Risk

  • Continuously evaluating against potential risk (financial, people, regulatory and compliance) and taking steps to mitigate where required
  • Escalating delivery risks where necessary to ensure that releases are not delayed
