Your main responsibilities will be covering autocue operator shifts for Reporting Scotland, The Nine and politics programmes and offering studio floor support to the transmission teams.
Administration tasks will mainly consist of music reporting, contributor payments, travel bookings and some general forward planning tasks.
You should be a highly motivated individual keen to develop skills in a busy Newsroom environment and a team player who can work under your own initiative when required. You will have a friendly and efficient manner and be able to keep calm under pressure. No previous production experience is needed as full training will be given but you should be organised and IT literate and able to learn new skills quickly.
Whilst some home working may be possible, this post requires you to work a variety of shifts in PQ Glasgow with regular evening work in the studio from 2pm -10pm.
