One if the leading UK independent television, film and digital production companies is looking for a Production Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar industry to broaden their experience working with a wide range of companies, across Scripted, Factual and Entertainment. This role will provide study support and have the opportunity to assist with month-end.

 
Key responsibilities

• Inputting invoices for each production company, checking accuracy and VAT requirements;
• Matching purchase orders to invoicing;
• Scheduling and processing payment runs;
• Responding to supplier queries;
• Processing credit card statements and staff expenses;
• Cashbook postings and bank reconciliations;
• Managing petty cash/Pleo requests from the production teams;
• Reconciling monthly intercompany recharges and raising invoices;
• Assisting with VAT returns;
• Assisting with monthly Payroll review;
• Assisting with Management Accounts;
• Monthly reporting and Balance Sheet Recs;
• Preparation and assistance for the year-end audit; and
• Any other support as requested by the Finance Manager

 
About you

• 1 years’ experience in a numeric role;
• Studying/wishes to study towards an accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Highest level of tact, diplomacy and awareness of confidentiality;
• High level of professionalism;
• Previous purchase ledger experience highly beneficial
• Previous PMI experience, not essential but desirable
