We are looking for a Production Coordinator to work across the logistics of the development and production activities at Sugar Films. You will report to the Production Executive

What you’ll do:

Originally launched as a multi-genre content creator in 2016, Sugar Films is now solely focussed on developing scripted content and became part of Sky Studios’ broader portfolio of production companies in 2021.

Sugar Films is looking to appoint a Production Coordinator to lead their fast-paced and ambitious growth planned for 2022 and beyond. Sugar is a company that firmly believes there is no creative without production, and sees this role as a key position within their organisation.

You will support Sugar’s Production Executive and CEO, as well as working closely with our colleagues in the Sky Studios production department, working across multiple projects from inception through to delivery. We have three HETV dramas going into production in 2022, and are growing our production department to accommodate the additional workload.

The integration of Sugar’s finance and business affairs into Sky Studios is still in it’s early stages, and you will be heavily involved in the streamlining of these systems; onboarding crew, working with accounts to ensure payroll can ran smoothly, and setting up production logistics for each project in soft prep.

What you’ll bring:

You will have experience of working either in-house, or in feature film and HETV drama at Production Coordinator or Assistant Production Coordinator level.

You will have experience of working with high profile talent, agents and production companies. And the confidence and experience to handle robust personalities collaboratively and constructively.

You will have experience of working with start forms and contract templates to ensure PAYE, loan-out and self employed crew are appropriately onboarded.

Relationships with a wide range of freelance crew, to assist on crewing up productions.

You will have experience working with POs and other production paperwork to ensure all spend is appropriately accounted for.

Immaculate attention to detail, pro-active attitude, and forward looking approach to workload. A demonstrable ability to juggle several projects and multi-task.
