We have an exciting opportunity for two Production Co-ordinators to work on an ambitious new history series, w/t Ancient Powers 6 x 50’.
The series will be filming in 7 different countries and filming is scheduled for later this summer.
We are looking for 2 experienced full-time PCs who have a solid track record with setting up foreign filming, and are experienced at arranging foreign payments, and dealing with archive.
Both roles are envisaged to be a combination of WFH and working at our London Television Centre office a few days a week if possible.
The team are based in London and the PM is based in Scotland, so we are looking for confident PCs who are able work independently - who are invested in the content & enjoy contributing to the common goals of a supportive production team.
PC1 start w/c 18 April through to 3 March 2023. Must be available to cover PM holiday dates which are wks 26, 27 and 42.
PC2: start w/c 16 May through to 23 September 2022.
As a day-to-day focal point for a small tight-knit team, you’ll work closely with editorial staff setting up shoots and managing the resources needed. You’ll be working to tight deadlines, sometimes under pressure and across more than one programme at once, so must have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Setting up foreign shoots, booking crew, kit and locations within the UK & abroad, sourcing quotes from suppliers; communicating within the team and with outside suppliers; liaising with contributors, preparing schedules and call-sheets; overseeing workflow of rushes from location to post-production; clearing archive, rights; and post-production paperwork.
PC1 will be co-ordinating filming in Rome, Greece and setting up remote filming in China and will stay on through the edit and delivery period. They need to be able to clear and pay for archive and will be working with the Archive Producer during the edit.
PC2 will be co-ordinating filming in India, Pakistan and Egypt and Turkey.
