About this role

This is a really exciting & important role within the Insurance, Repairs & Trade In team – with an action packed roadmap over the next 12-18 months.

The individual will have end to end ownership of the trade in product. They will work cross functionally, with our partner (LikeWize) & the partnership team (Apple & Samsung) to deliver the Trade In roadmap, which includes playing a key role in Apple / Samsung NPI launches & integrating Trade in capability within mobile purchase journeys.  

They will work closely with the commercial trading team & the channels (digital, retail, call centre, enjoy) to define the trading plan, inc. staff incentives & new customer promos (supported by an annual marketing budget) to ensure delivery of our key commercial targets.

You'll have the following responsibilities

End to end ownership of Trade In product

Manage channels to drive trade in volumes & profitability 

Understand the Trade In market to identify, shape & deliver new propositions (inc. capex projects)

Deliver NPI trade in promotions (working with Apple & Samsung partnership teams)

Work with our third party Likewize to deliver the product vision & strategy 

Define & implement acquisition marketing activity 

Support new staff and customer promotions 

You'll have the following skills & experience

Able to bring to market new propositions & promotions, working with a range of stakeholders

Able to develop & deliver growth plans, by identifying & delivering trading initiatives (including utilising a third party marketing budget)

Able to build strong working relationships & collaboration with your stakeholders 

Ideally some experience in either trading, product management & marketing with some experience of working with channels, marketing and base communications

Proven ability in making things happen – translate commercial ambition into an executable plan and delivery through complex partnerships

Ideally experience delivering new props to market 

Ideally experience managing channel trading plans or product performance

Experience of delivering a GTM plan 

Able to deliver a trading plan across channels

Experience of stakeholder management 

Some experience of setting budgets & business casing
