Business Bank (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers.
The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ everyday banking needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates.
We have accountability for Commercial Deposits, Payments, and Commerce Solutions as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.
Sitting within the newly created Growth and Better Business team, the Business Transaction Products team has responsibility for our mass-market business transaction products. This includes not for profit, foreign currency and business transaction accounts. We are also responsible for realising our goal to simplify our business transaction product suite.
Do work that matters
In this newly created role as Product Manager, Business Transaction Accounts, your primary contribution will be to drive acquisition and growth, enhance processes, manage P&L outcomes, develop and execute customer retention strategy, identify, and manage operational and compliance risks across the business transaction product portfolio.
The role is required to take an end to end view of product lifecycle, working closely with Line 1 Risk, frontline sales teams, operational teams, legal, compliance and other key stakeholders in order to drive growth and business outcomes.
We’re interested in hearing from people with
Excellent financial literacy and understanding of revenue drivers for products
Will ideally have demonstrated experience, or a detailed understanding, of driving revenue and growth for a product or product set with SME’s , preferably in financial services, however we are open to other industry backgrounds
Ability to work across multiple responsibilities and manage tight timeframes
Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with competing priorities whilst ensuring a high level of attention to detail is maintained
Strong communication skills
A passion for doing the right thing by our customers
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, commerce or finance
