 If so, come and join our Procurement Team at National Museums Liverpool.  At this exciting time we have many opportunities in procurements, creating positive lasting impact supporting local communities, preserving our heritage and contributing towards cultural and economic growth. As Procurement Manager within our recently established team, you will lead on a wide variety of high-profile procurements, working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment to procure works, goods and services across a range of project including;

  • the redevelopment of our International Museum of Slavery and Canning Graving Docks as part of Liverpool’s Waterfront transformation
  • our range of innovative exhibition programmes
  • facilitating estates management delivery of our visitor experience focused outcomes

 

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will provide a professional advisory service to ensure the integrity of procurement activities across all categories of third-party expenditure for National Museums Liverpool and its subsidiaries.

You will build positive relationships with colleagues and contribute towards our ‘Value for Money’ and strategic procurement objectives. You will also facilitate the future development of the procurement service, driving commercial best practice to support procurement maturity across the Group.

You will be able to demonstrate practical application of public procurement procedures, tendering and contract management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this client-focused team role and being fully MCIPS qualified will be advantageous. IT literacy, effective problem-solving skills and use of initiative are a must, along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
