Join us as a Senior Procurement Manager and you’ll become part of an exciting team that’s working to offer the best service in the country.

What you’ll do:

• Manage, lead and deliver strategic sourcing activity to assigned projects
• Lead the commercial management of projects
• Deliver a strategy for a short and long term savings opportunities when the project is handed over to the in-life team.
• Manage supply risks and navigate uncertainty – Mitigate supply shocks such as natural disasters, component shortages, and geopolitical activities by monitoring, anticipating, and planning around market trends and dynamics.
• Conduct full cost breakdown analysis of mechanical parts, sub-assemblies & the finished product.
• Support the wider team with supplier engagement & KPI data from your assigned projects.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience managing the end-to-end sourcing process of key technologies.
• Ideally MCIPS certified or equivalent.
• Professional, fact-based, analytical, and senior-level negotiation skills backed up by an ability to drive market research and competitive analysis
• Established skills managing stakeholders across multiple organisations and international geographies.
• Experience in managing suppliers, leading business reviews and driving resolution to barriers and challenges.
• Experience of global supply chains with product manufacturing offshore
• International contract and SLA experience.

Our location takes some beating: we’re practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there’s some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.
