We’re looking for a Procurement and Commercial Advisor to take on a one year, project-oriented contract with a public sector organisation.

This is an opportunity to engage in complex and challenging work, lending your procurement and commercial expertise to a transformational and rewarding logistics project within a large and diverse organisation.

As the Procurement and Commercial Advisor, you will support the transformation of the organisation’s logistics capabilities to enable enhanced readiness and ensure operational output delivery. You will ensure that critical equipment available, serviced and ready for use to meet tasks as required. Delivery of fit-for-purpose logistic infrastructure is critical to allow the rationalisation of equipment holdings, and to properly manage, support and maintain the modern equipment that staff rely on to achieve success.

You will bring to this role:

• The ability to read, understand and interpret complex technical documents, including legislation, financial, numerical, and business information.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, plans and time schedules within a Government and/or Construction procurement environment.
• Knowledge of procurement documentation including tenders and reports
• Working knowledge of contract and commercial management
• Planning and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication for procurement documentation
• Ability to solve problems and present alternative solutions.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
