An exciting opportunity to join the Procurement team has become available within the National Supply Chain Department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This role is a Permanent Full-Time position.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for managing energy related projects by conducting data analysis, developing reports, planning and forecasting. In this role you will be supporting the development of ALDI’s Energy Strategies by converting data into actionable insights, influencing the decision making of the business

With a desire to support the procurement function, you will have advanced analytical skills and a strategic mindset as well as a high level of computer literacy across multiple programs. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple project initiatives, working within tight deadlines with a variety of stakeholders.

Selection criteria:

• Demonstrated Data Analytics experience
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sustainability, Data Science or equivalent highly regarded
• Experience in Energy or Solar industries desirable
• Advanced computer literacy across multiple programs including Excel, VBA & Macros
• Demonstrated experience in research and analysis for strategic use
• Proven experience in project management
• Collaborative problem-solver, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders

Role responsibilities:   

• Analyse and report historical and forecast spend, supplier data and energy data
• Develop Energy Strategy, related to Solar, EVs, Batteries, etc.
• Support energy-related projects, such as electricity tenders and installation trials
• Create and prepare dashboard reporting
• Identify, assess and monitor information/data, supporting decision making, planning and forecasting
• Develop and maintain key performance analytics
• Develop Price, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Net Present Value (NPV) and Return On Investment (ROI) models
• Manage systems, tools and software utilised within the National Supply Chain department
• Analyse energy data, converting into reports and actionable insights

This role reports to the Executive Manager - Procurement.
