Job Summary
Printing Services is an administrative unit that provides cost effective, timely and high quality print-related services in support of Dalhousie’s teaching, learning and research activities. Reporting to the Manager of Printing Services, the Digital Print Technician is a member of the production team responsible for producing a wide range of documents in response to client requests.

Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma in graphic arts and print production, plus a minimum of three years’ experience in a print centre environment, including operation of high speed digital production devices and finishing equipment (or an equivalent combination of training and experience) is required. Communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize jobs, are key to this position. Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat and InDesign is required. Experience with large format printing is an asset.
