Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead a technical team and develop customer acquisition & engagement strategy in the region to accelerate Teams adoption and active usage (measured by DAU, MAU). Measure, track and grow engaging customer scenarios.   

  • Drive Teams calling, meetings, devices, and platform experience improvements across a diverse customer set  
  • Directly manage a pipeline of key customer accounts as part of a team to manage strategic customers through their adoption lifecycle 
  • Understand the Office 365 scale programs and drive Teams adoption using the scale programs 
  • Develop and drive strategies and engagement with peer engineering teams, sales and field leadership to leverage them as force multipliers  
  • Plan and lead requirements and relevant competitive reviews with team and executive leadership  
  • Identify and advocate specific customer issues to unblock adoption, then turn them into general solutions (new features), toolkits, documentation, etc. 
  • Support Microsoft Teams-specific customer connection events in the region

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience  

  • 10+ years experience supporting and architecting Telephony, VOIP, Conferencing & Calling services
  • 10+ years of direct enterprise customer experience, managing a team, in a technical delivery, field, technical sales or customer success role with strong customer focus and an ability to engage at C-levels  
  • 5+ years experience supporting application development, release management
  • Strong management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills 
  • Broad thinker, ability to wear many hats, learn quickly and pivot when needed 
  • Ability to think creatively and critically about product features and user scenarios 
  • Self-driven, innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly-changing startup environment 
  • Solid understanding of cloud software, SaaS, mobile technologies, operations at scale.
