What we're looking for
- Understanding and background in software development and ideally quality assurance, within a process-based design and development environment. We will consider people from a diverse range of backgrounds and industries.
- Knowledge of systems and software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements.
- A collaborative but objective approach with an ability to influence change.
- Ability to lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues and provide input to monthly reports.
- You remain calm under pressure, cope well with unexpected changes, can self-manage and enjoy being part of a multi-functional team.
- An engineering degree or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies.
- Experience or knowledge of DOORS, RTC, Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink would be beneficial though not essential.

Product Assurance Software Quality are specialists within a wider quality and technical assurance community and support engineers and managers across several Technical functional domains. We are part of the UK based Product Assurance function, based in Stevenage and Bristol, working closely with our French and Italian counterparts.
Our role is to provide independent software and systems quality assurance at all stages of development, from initial concept to final qualification. This particular role will be Bristol based but travel to other MBDA sites is possible and on occasion may also include some travel to conduct supplier audits.
