Security is a topic you read about every day, and securing the Cloud is more important than ever. Business and governments are under constant threat from a variety of actors, and they are moving to the Cloud in record numbers. Today there is a limited pool of people who know how to build and operate cloud-native applications and secure and protect them and the infrastructure they run on. We protect Microsoft’s customers and their data across the world and secure the Microsoft Cloud. In the mobile-first cloud-first world, security is among the most important elements to get right, enabling trust and keeping people and their data safe.
We are hiring a leader who is passionate about security, Machine Learning (ML) and building distributed and highly available services. This individual will build and manage a team which will focus on protecting and securing the compute resources in Azure.
Join our team and help protect hundreds of millions of customers, Azure’s own infrastructure and generally chasing after bad guys. We are a tight-knit community of engineers who work together to solve design, research and coding challenges. We value communication and problem-solving skills.
Core to our team culture is the believe that in order to run a successful service you must have a ‘people-first’ approach to sustainably building and running cloud services. That means we put an extra emphasis on having a healthy live site and while our services support millions of assets and hundreds of customers, our services’ health and live site cadence is super healthy.
Our aim is to be the best and most successful security organization in the world and have fun while doing so. If you are a security enthusiast with an interest in artificial intelligence, this is a great opportunity for you right at the intersection of what Microsoft greatly cares about: cloud, security and AI.
