Quality is first and foremost in our minds and understanding signals from the data to improve quality is essential.

Responsibilities

Grow and coach data engineering talent, act a mentor for engineers.
Identify and champion best practices, tools, and ideas to improve execution and quality.
Strategic thinking, evaluate current pain points, evangelizes new technology, understands and identifies new opportunities based on trends.
Create a culture of customer focus and be a staunch advocate for customers.
Cross Site & Cross functional Collaboration.
Drive improvements to the product design and architecture, leading to increased customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, critical projects in a dynamic, rapid paced environment
• Should be able to operate in a complex org structure and collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally. Establish alignment of vision, strategy & delivery working with cross functional teams and stakeholders including senior leaders across geographies.
• A highly technical and result-oriented engineering leader experienced in determining goals and matching those with customer requirements and product roadmaps
• Proven track record of managing complex Engineering deliverables, and strong business acumen
• A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and experience with agile methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially presentation skills.
• Passion for building leading edge technology with a minimum of 15+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years working on Big Data and Data pipelines.
• Expertise in Python or equivalent programming language [ Golang, Java, C++ etc.]
• Expertise in SQL and NO-SQL databases
• Passionate about designing elegant ETL pipelines.
