Responsibilities

- Lead architecture, design, and development features and solutions with high quality for our next generation commercial platform.

- Drive consistency, reliability, security, and performance across large environments with a service-centric approach

- Understand and focus on the benefit our systems have on our customers and partners.

- Be a mentor for other engineers in the team; providing expert guidance, hands-on assistance, best practices, and training and promote an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience with software design and development.
• 3+ years of experience in managing a software engineering team. 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to understand key business needs in line with priorities and apply the right technology to the solution. 
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, etc. 
• Hands on knowledge with web technologies such as REST, ASP.NET, MVC, building RESTful APIs. 
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of testing practices. 
• Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on new technical domains. 
• Experience in building large scale micro services.

• Solid design and coding skills with a bias for architecture at scale.
