We’re a fast-moving, rapidly growing, hands-on, resilient team of software engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), program management, security research, and data science – working together to deliver products that offer protection, detection, and response to evolving cybersecurity threats across the globe!

We’re looking for an experienced engineering architect to help evolve our services architecture, the underlying data, and analytics platforms. As an architect, you will have the positioning and empowerment to make an impact across the Cloud Security portfolio.

Responsibilities

·       Envision, architect, deliver, and support high-quality distributed services, infrastructures, and components to power the Cloud Security products.

·       Partner effectively with functional leader counterparts (Engineering, Research, SRE, PM) across Cloud Security and outside of our division to ensure ongoing alignment, engineering dependencies, and build solutions for other groups.

·       Provide technical leadership, vision, and manage relationships and requirements with peer platform and product teams.

·       Drive product execution with clarity, including translating abstract problem statement into a high-quality product engineering strategy and design.

·       Identify improvements and opportunities to better serve business goals.

·       Maintain in-depth knowledge of software industry and cross-company best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies, and how these can apply to our product, business, service, and technology stack.

Qualifications

·        15+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering (C#/Java preferred).
·        5+ years of experience developing and shipping customer-facing cloud services (SaaS model) at an enterprise-grade scale, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex system architecture.
·        Excellence in written and verbal communication and ability to partner for success across all levels of organization and technical depths. Experience driving efforts across product groups and business units.
·        Customer-first, business-savvy, and holds a growth mindset to uphold our culture and values.
·        Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills, including communication with executives overseas.

·        Excellent negotiation and partnership skills.

Preferred:

·        Proven track record of improving reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services.
·        Experience developing and maintaining large scale distributed systems on Azure or AWS.
·        Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences.
·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related studies.

·        Experience with Microsoft Azure.
·        Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
