Role Responsibility

You will identify and implement suitable technical solutions and implement business innovation.

In collaboration with BA, you will understand business requirements in order to design media systems and create implementable solutions.

You will be performing code reviews, developing expertise in new and existing technologies and lead the introduction of them where appropriate.

Producing technical documentation as part of project and product delivery, you will be responsible for the provision of technical advice and consultancy across a range of projects.

Furthermore, you will build automated processes and conduct testing, while applying best security practices.

The above responsibilities will enable you to act as a role model to other team members, providing technical leadership.

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Essential:

• Dev-ops and Agile principles
• AWS platform
• node.js
• SQL and/or NoSQL database systems
• Test automation

Desirable:

• Terraform
• Lambda / serverless applications
• Docker
• RESTful APIs
• CI/CD workflows
• Experience with media / streaming platforms

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work independently, as well as in a team; deal with uncertainty, and have the potential to bring all projects to a satisfactory conclusion.
