We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead our Engineering Services Excellence Team in Mountain View.

This team's responsibilities include building, testing, deployment and monitoring infrastructure for NFV services. The team is responsible to build a common infrastructure and automation for pre-deployment testing, fleet upgrades, vulnerability management, security management using the best of Azure Devops Pipelines. The team is also works on Developer Productivity. We contribute to design, implementation, deployment and monitoring of Hybrid Networking Services in an agile model.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

10+ years of Software Development experience building product quality software

Demonstrated success growing junior engineers through mentoring, collaboration and coaching

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required

Strong experience in C# or Java, Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting.

Strong skills in Distributed systems and building/deployment/monitoring of cloud services

Strong experience in Test and Deployment Automation

Strong expertise in monitoring, analytics, large scale fleet management

Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in teams to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across geos.

Experience dealing with large customer base and partner integration.

Passion for improving and streamlining the engineering process, tools, methodologies to develop and operate services at hyper-scale.
