Responsibilities

This job will challenge you on a daily basis. Your background in cloud services will allow you to come up to speed quickly on the Azure Storage stack and begin to make valuable contributions across multiple layers. Our ideal engineer has the ability to implement performance-related improvements, features and proofs-of-concept in the Azure Storage codebase. Your analysis will consider latency, throughput, and scalability in determining whether our work has successfully delivered benefits.

Qualifications

Required Qualificatons :

• 10+ years developing performance-sensitive code in C/C++
• BS in CS, CSE or related field

Prefered Qualifications :

•  Strong development experience in all phases of the product lifecycle
• Excellent collaboration skills, including strong experience working across organizational boundaries
• Experience working in very large codebases and quickly understanding complex architectures
• Experience working on massive scale distributed systems
