• Be a great technical leader for the team and broader organization. You will be working with a very technical diverse team of between 5 and 8 developers and expected to provide technical direction 

• Capable of designing and implementing large feature areas, working in the code, guiding the team, and understanding at a detailed level how the software works 

• Architect robust scalable software designs, own technical strategy, have an informed opinion about how the software should evolve and ability to land your design with high quality and on time 

• Rigorous quality engineering practices across all phases of product development and deployment 

• Create layered, componentized, testable, interface-based designs ensuring a robust high-quality implementation and crafted end-user experiences 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

• 12+ years of professional industry experience working on large projects 
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline  
• Excellent design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to design performant, highly usable, scalable, world-ready, accessible software 
• Ability to create layered, componentized, testable, interface-based designs 
• Consistent track record of shipping compelling technologies 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in C++ or Windows development 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Effective collaboration skills driving changes at scale 
• Experience in Machine Learning, Data Driven Engineering or Agile Development is a plus 
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies is a plus  
• Experience with Windows architecture and internals is a plus
