We are looking for software engineers with strong hands on experience in building large scale distributed systems to process billions of M365 cloud user's data. As a part of M365 Cloud team, we are building platforms that can extract M365 user data to power intelligence experiences, schedule data processing jobs to enrich user data and signals in M365 cloud and provide REST API access to user data through M365 Graph. We expect strong architecture and design skills to improve data processing capabilities of M365 cloud.

This role is  a Principal Software Engineer role with opportunity to build / design for new data processing capabilities for M365 cloud. The role involves architecting new  platform capabilities that improves privacy/compliance for user data for data engineering, ML Modelling and designing new ways of running  data processing platforms to process vast user data with definable SLA. This role expects you to contribute into core M365 cloud platform that several user interesting Intelligence features run on.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will enjoy working with top notch M365 cloud architects in Redmond and Bangalore. You will work in interesting customer usecases that process data it large scale. This role will be an interesting role if you are:

• Passionate about architecting and driving platform level architecture meeting various business usecases
• Strong in analytical skills and drive design decisions based on data and insights
• Crafting design improvements balancing current customer need and long term roadmap

We expect the candidate to have

• Hands on IT experience in designing/implementing large scale system
• 8+ years of coding experience in software development.
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
• Knowledge in big data platforms like Hadoop, auth protocols like Oauth will be a big plus.
