Are you excited about working and dealing with the challenges of planetary-scale infrastructure? The Azure Compute team is looking for a highly motivated and talented leader to identify and drive improvements in the provisioning and deployment of datacenter infrastructure. Datacenter Infrastructure Management plays an integral part in lowering the costs to operate the hyper scale public cloud. The right candidate would be comfortable working in an agile environment, balancing business needs and communications, while overseeing the overall rollout of new infrastructure -- server hardware, software upgrades, etc. This person would work closely with leading datacenter, hardware and networking experts, an exceptional software development team, and other internal and external partners in delivering all the components of our infrastructure on time. The person will also be working with executives across multiple teams. The position requires strong executive communication skills, passion to replace operationally (people) heavy processes with software, and data-driven analytical ability.
