We are seeking a go to market specialist for our largest enterprise transformation offering designed to help reduce the time, effort, cost and risk associated to large enterprise digital transformation achieved on cloud technology. Connecting the dots for C-Level executives of Global 500 enterprises between business needs, opportunities, and objectives, to digital strategies and solutions deployed on AWS.

In this role you will serve as a go to market specialist leading pursuit strategies that help large enterprise executives understand and commit to driving their enterprise digital transformation on AWS. Candidates should possess knowledge of developing board level business value propositions, data center exit strategies, cloud migrations, and have a track record of working on large, complex, multi-year transformation strategies. In particular the candidate will:

  • Work with customers and partners to jointly develop board level business value propositions
  • Work with customers and partners to jointly develop digital transformation strategies
  • Thoroughly understand customers’ business, industry, and market to develop transformation strategies that provide optimal value to customers
  • Earn the trust of C-Level executives at customer organizations and with AWS senior sales leaders
  • Develop and lead pursuit strategies executed by large cross functional teams
  • Identify and manage both internal and customer escalations required to win opportunities
  • Support, coach, and develop customer facing sales teams to develop bold proposals that have meaningful impact on customer outcomes

Experience in both strategic enterprise sales and in leading transformational delivery strategies is beneficial. As well as demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about sales, business, product, and technical challenges with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build alignment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of C-level business outcome based pursuit strategies
  • Establish strategic advisory relationships with C-Level executive sponsors
  • Identify and coordinate the necessary resources to support pursuit and delivery
  • Exhibit business transformation and enterprise cloud adoption expertise
  • Prepare and give business reviews to senior management on opportunity and engagement execution progress
  • Work backwards from customer and field teams (account teams, business development, professional services, partners) to harvest feedback and learning to continuously improve pursuit strategies to accelerate the sales cycle and improve customer selection
  • Present at customer events and executive briefings on cloud-powered enterprise transformation

A day in the life

In this role you will serve as a go to market specialist leading pursuit strategies with AWS sales teams in a geographical region to help enterprise business executives understand, define, and commit to a business transformation strategy powered by AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience selling to and/or supporting Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000
  • 7+ years of executive management, business development, consulting, product management, or solutions development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience developing, executing digital or business transformation strategies
  • Experience leveraging cloud computing and digital technology to solve for enterprise business problems and challenges
  • Exceptional business acumen and high judgment – be able to use business and technology depth and breadth to understand customer needs and shape transformation initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Masters/MBA degree
  • Leadership responsibility for a Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 business transformation success and execution
  • Experience leading the strategy and execution of a large-scale cloud adoption effort
  • 10+ years of experience in senior executive roles within technology, IT Services or Professional Services companies focused on shaping and executing transformative technology strategies
  • 10+ years of experience pursuit strategies targeted to enterprise customers, with focus on developing, executing digital or business transformation strategies
