Our team is expanding its presence in the Bengaluru area across Engineering, PM, and UX/Design as we grow our vibrant global engineering team, making fundamental investments to build the next generation of innovative and intelligent industry clouds & solutions leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure. We are looking for a principal group engineering manager who will play a key role in building, managing and leading multiple engineering teams as well as setting technical strategy and direction for the relevant product areas.  

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a passion for building great end-to-end SaaS solutions with AI and delightful user experiences along with a proven track record of building new teams, being a proficient technical contributor, and owning/shipping large feature areas across multiple releases working with globally distributed cross-functional teams.

To do that you will need to – 

As a Principal Group Engineering Manager, you will lead design and development of new industry solution capabilities. This includes working with the team on solutions architecture definition and solving technical problems as we build and package different apps/components together.  

Qualifications

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 

12+ years of development experience with with Agile development methodologies and testing practices in relevant technologies (e.g. C#, JS, cloud computing). 

1+ years of experience managing teams of 20+ engineers. 

4+ years’ experience and skills in building cloud-based SaaS applications 

Demonstratable coding, debugging, design and problem-solving skills 

Proven background as a thought leader and technical domain expert in business applications 

Creative and innovative thinking. 

Strong leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

C#, JavaScript/Typescript experience 

Development experience with Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), PowerApps, Dynamics 365 CE, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, or other CRM/ERP products. 

Passion for improving service quality and engineering excellence 

Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in object-oriented languages and database querying languages 

Experience with Git, CI/CD processes, source control management 

Background on services and cloud computing 

Prior experience building business centric web applications  

Strong collaboration, communication and coordination skills 

Experience leveraging ML/AI for building predictive analytics. 

Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. 

A passion for improving engineering practices and producing high-quality software. 

Exceptional software engineering skills across all phases of software development lifecycle.
