Microsoft Windows & Devices Software team is on a journey to create new experiences on the Windows platform. A fundamental part of our strategy is having desirable and powerful devices that enable the experiences people want. Creating these new experiences and devices involves close partnership between hardware engineers, software engineers, designers, manufacturing along with the various industry partners that closely collaborate to create industry defining firsts. Our obsession for the right experience with our passion to enable everyone to do and be their best reflects in the devices that Windows ships.

Responsibilities

  • Work deep in graphics drivers to add features and architect for performance.
  • Collaborate with the D3D and OS teams to improve to the Windows graphics stack.
  • Work with partners to define the direction of future GPU hardware.
  • Provide technical direction and foster an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software and/or product development.
  • Experience in GPU Architecture, GPU APIs, and/or driver development.
  • Experience working with and debugging the CPU/GPU performance issues.
  • Excellent C/C++ design and coding skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with at least one API: DirectX, Vulcan, OpenGL.
  • Experience in GPU frame debugging and performance analysis using PIX.
  • Shipped 3D games or commercial 3D software.
  • Developed and shipped a Windows graphics driver.
